The stories that emerge, of body and word, can support us in acknowledging and giving space to the parts of ourselves that can live on the edges of our being. As we work to bring our emotion, shadow, desire and animalness into full expression, we can experience release and integration. We also practice body-dreaming, experimenting with how we might respond to life with a sense of imagination, playfulness, and choice. We can notice where our thresholds lie, and consider how we might move through discomfort towards freedom.
This practice can support our self-expression, whether that might be in the context of writing, moving or simply living. It can refresh our creative process, and can give us the tools to bridge body-mind.
